Seasoned Association and Government Affairs Leader to Support ACRA’s Policy and Advocacy Efforts in Washington, D.C. and Across the Country

The American Car Rental Association (ACRA) today announced the appointment of Don Lefeve as its new Executive Director, underscoring the association’s commitment to expanding its influence in Washington, D.C. and advocating for policies that benefit car rental companies and consumers nationwide.

Lefeve brings extensive experience in association leadership, government relations, and corporate affairs, having successfully led advocacy efforts at the federal and state levels. He is a proven leader in shaping legislative outcomes, with more than two decades of successful engagement with policymakers, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders.

Lefeve most recently served as Vice-President of Corporate Affairs at Forterra, a leading autonomous technology company, and prior to that as the President & CEO of the Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA), where he delivered increased membership, revenue, and industry influence.
