Former CEO and Chair of Sealed Air joins Una Terra as Operating Partner

Bill Hickey further increases the fund know-how on the material transition and expands its presence in North America

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Bill brings over 30 years of industrial leadership at Sealed Air Corporation, the global leader in food and protective packaging.

There, he rose from division General Manager to CFO and COO, and served as President and CEO from 2000 to 2012 before chairing the Board. A U.S. Naval Academy engineer, Harvard MBA and CPA, he has also served on the boards of PSEG and Sensient Technologies. He also serves on the Board of Hackensack Meridian Health Network and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

His expertise in manufacturing, product innovation and operational excellence speaks directly to the packaging and materials transition many of our portfolio companies are driving.

As Operating Partner, Bill will work hands-on with our founders on scaling challenges. Based in NYC, he will also be our bridge to the American market, supporting portfolio companies entering the US and opening doors to industrial partners and customers.
