WellStack, a healthcare data platform purpose-built to enable analytics, AI readiness, and confident decision-making, today announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Healthcare Systems of America (HSA), a leading hospital services organization supporting health systems nationwide across acute and specialty care environments.
This partnership reflects a shared vision for leveraging data, analytics, and AI to drive greater operational visibility, financial performance, and informed decision-making across HSA’s multi-hospital network.
As part of the engagement, WellStack will implement its cloud-native Unified Data Model (UDM) to harmonize clinical, financial, and operational data across HSA’s complex, multi-EHR environment. The initiative will establish a secure, governed data foundation designed to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and a defined path toward advanced Decision Hub activation.
“As healthcare systems continue to evolve, the ability to unify and activate data across the enterprise becomes a strategic priority. By partnering with WellStack to establish a modern data foundation, we are creating the infrastructure needed to improve operational transparency, strengthen financial performance, and support the next generation of analytics and AI-enabled insights,” said David Colarusso, CIO, Healthcare Systems of America.
By standardizing and unifying data across source systems, the Unified Data Foundation will provide HSA with a single, trusted source of truth. This foundation will improve data quality, transparency, and governance while accelerating readiness for advanced analytics and AI-enabled use cases across the enterprise.
The engagement includes a structured, phased delivery approach beginning with program inception and governance alignment, followed by data profiling and integration, UDM deployment, analytics and KPI enablement, and production go-live with knowledge transfer to operational teams. The roadmap also defines a clear path to activate modular Decision Hubs aligned to HSA’s priorities, beginning with a structured evaluation of revenue cycle performance.
“WellStack was built to help healthcare organizations move from fragmented data to confident, actionable insight,” said Rich Waller, CEO of WellStack. “This partnership with HSA underscores the importance of building the right data foundation first, so analytics, AI, and operational intelligence can scale with trust, speed, and impact.”
With this unified data foundation in place, HSA will be positioned to:
- Establish a single source of truth across clinical, financial, and operational data
- Improve enterprise data quality, transparency, and governance
- Accelerate readiness for Decision Hubs and advanced analytics
- Scale analytics capabilities efficiently as additional hospitals and data sources are onboarded
This collaboration represents a significant milestone for both organizations and reinforces WellStack’s role as a trusted data and analytics partner to healthcare organizations navigating complex data environments and preparing for the next generation of AI-enabled healthcare operations.
