CA, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TELESIN today launched the Master Grip Imaging System for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The modular mobile imaging system consists of a MagSafe-integrated grip, physical camera controls and interchangeable lenses.
As the next generation of TELESIN’s Master Grip platform, the system supports portrait, everyday telephoto and long-range photography within a single grip-based setup.
The Master Grip Imaging System consists of three main components: the Master Grip, an interchangeable lens family and optional filters. The grip connects to the phone through MagSafe and incorporates physical controls for camera-style operation. Its shape and weight distribution are designed to support handheld photography and video recording.
Three Focal-Length Options
The interchangeable lens family provides three focal-length options: 105mm equivalent for portraits, 200mm equivalent for everyday telephoto use and 400mm equivalent for long-range photography.
The 2x telephoto lens uses a periscope-inspired optical design consisting of five optical elements. When positioned over the iPhone’s main camera, it provides a 105mm-equivalent focal length intended primarily for portrait photography. When paired with the iPhone’s native telephoto camera, it provides a 200mm-equivalent focal length for street scenes, daily documentation and other general telephoto applications.
The 3.5x telephoto lens uses a periscope-inspired optical design consisting of 12 optical elements. When paired with the native telephoto cameras of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, it provides a 400mm-equivalent focal length.
The 400mm-equivalent configuration is intended for situations that require a longer shooting distance, including concerts, sporting events, wildlife, outdoor details, distant portraits and architectural details.
The 3.5x lens is approximately one centimeter taller than the 2x lens. Its optical structure and center-of-gravity layout are designed to maintain a relatively compact handheld configuration while providing the longer focal length.
The lens system also supports accessories including neutral-density and circular polarizing filters for different lighting and shooting conditions.
A Modular System for Different Shooting Distances
The Master Grip Imaging System allows iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max users to select different lenses according to subject distance, composition and specific shooting requirements without replacing the core grip.
The 105mm-equivalent configuration is intended primarily for portrait photography, where facial perspective, working distance and subject separation are important considerations.
The 200mm-equivalent configuration is suited to portraits, street scenes and everyday photography, providing a more concentrated telephoto composition while retaining a practical working distance.
The 400mm-equivalent configuration is intended for subjects that cannot be approached easily, including stage performances, sporting events, wildlife, architectural details and distant landscapes.
Through its interchangeable lens structure, the system allows users to move from everyday portraits and street photography to longer-range shooting scenarios while retaining the same Master Grip platform.
Extending the Platform From the iPhone 17 Pro Series
Following the 2025 launch of the Master Grip photography kit for the iPhone 17 Pro Series, TELESIN has expanded the mobile imaging platform for a new generation of devices.
Drawing on experience gained from the previous-generation product, the new Master Grip System has been adapted for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. It integrates the grip, physical controls, interchangeable lenses and filter options into a single modular shooting system.
The new version also expands the Master Grip from a standalone smartphone photography grip into a mobile imaging system covering multiple focal lengths and shooting scenarios. Users can retain the core grip while selecting lenses and filters for portrait, everyday telephoto or long-range photography.
