Berkshire Residential Investments (“Berkshire” or the “Firm”), a vertically-integrated residential real estate investment and property management company, announced the appointment of Dana Hamilton to its Board of Directors. She joins the Board alongside Ronald Blankenship (Chairman), Joseph Azrack, Jeanne Myerson, Michael Krupp, Richard Krupp and David Olney (Chief Executive Officer), adding her perspective to a group of experienced leaders who provide strategic oversight and guidance to the Firm.
With more than three decades of leadership experience across real estate investment management, operations, and corporate governance, Hamilton brings a unique combination of institutional investment expertise and hands-on operating experience. Her appointment further enhances the Board’s depth of residential real estate expertise and adds valuable perspective as Berkshire continues to grow and evolve.
“Berkshire has built a longstanding reputation for investment discipline, operational excellence, and a people-focused culture. I am pleased to join the Board and work alongside my fellow directors and the Firm’s management team. I look forward to supporting Berkshire’s continued success and helping the Firm build on its strong foundation,” said Hamilton.
Prior to joining Berkshire’s Board, Hamilton served as Senior Managing Director and Head of Real Estate at Pretium, where she oversaw more than $30 billion of single-family residential real estate investments and chaired the firm’s Real Estate Investment Committee. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly two decades at Archstone in both the United States and Europe, serving as Executive Vice President, National Operations, and later as President of Europe, where she helped establish and grow the firm’s European fund and asset management platform.
“Dana is a highly respected leader in the residential real estate industry whose experience spans multiple market cycles and business environments,” said David Olney, Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire. “Her perspective, leadership experience, and deep understanding of our industry will be valuable additions to the Board. We are delighted to welcome Dana and look forward to her contributions.”
