The open-source bundle from Propper AI gives your assistant 13 skills for preparing documents, sending agreements for signature, and checking statuses after.
ALPHARETTA, GA, UNITED STATES, September 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — PropperDocs, Inc. (Propper AI®) today announced the release of the Propper plugin for Claude Code and Claude Cowork. The plugin has passed Anthropic’s plugin review and is available as an open-source bundle of 13 skills under the Apache 2.0 license.
The bundle gives an AI assistant packaged instructions for preparing documents, sending agreements for signature, and tracking what happens after they go out. Users can start with a contract they already have, asking Claude to find unfilled blanks, compare a returned version clause by clause, or extract renewal and notice dates, and connect a Propper account when they are ready to create drafts, place signature fields, route agreements, and check who still needs to sign.

What the skills cover.
The 13 skills span five kinds of work: checking a document before it leaves your desk; generating recurring documents from templates with Propper Gen; creating drafts, adding recipients, and placing fields with Propper Sign; tracking recipient progress and retrieving completed documents; and auditing a DocuSign® template export or building embedded signing into your own application. Eleven skills handle tasks directly, while two shared skills supply the authentication, recipient-role, and confirmation instructions the others rely on.
Several tasks require no Propper account at all. Local document checks, version comparisons, date extraction, template-export audits, and the included nine-template starter pack, covering mutual and unilateral NDAs, a consulting agreement, a statement of work, and an employment offer letter, all work before connecting.

Built on the Model Context Protocol
Propper shipped Model Context Protocol (MCP) support in March 2026. This release adds the packaged workflow instructions on top of it. The connection uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, so users authenticate through the browser rather than pasting credentials into a conversation. Permissions are split by action, separate scopes govern reading agreements, editing drafts, and sending or voiding them, and the skills instruct the assistant to request explicit confirmation before any send, void, or delete.
Availability and pricing
The skills are free to download. In Claude Code, users run /plugin marketplace add mypropper/skills followed by /plugin install propper@propper-marketplace. Cowork users add the repository under Customize → Plugins, and Claude Team or Enterprise owners can upload the plugin to their organization directly. Connected workflows use Propper’s API, included on Business plans starting at $15 per month billed annually with unlimited users and 240 completed documents per year. Propper Gen is free for current customers during its beta.
