Klick Health took center stage throughout the evening at last night’s Medical Marketing + Media (MM+M) Awards, receiving the Market Access Gold Agency of the Year title plus nine campaign accolades, including five Gold trophies for “867-5309” (Cancer Support Community), “Project Inchstone” (Nestlé Compleat), and “MODDEN 26” (The Derek Sheely Foundation).
The agency’s Chief Medical Officer Holly Henry, PhD said, “This recognition is a testament to what happens when scientific rigor, deep access expertise and creativity work hand in hand, and you do work that truly matters to people. We are so grateful to our clients and to our growing market access and medical teams, who are hands-down the best when it comes to deeply understanding how to overcome the hurdles to patient access and adoption.”
Henry said the win was especially meaningful given the agency’s growing market access and medical communications focus, with Oxford PharmaGenesis recently becoming part of the Klick Health family to offer clients accelerated commercial success through broadened medical affairs and communications, market access, and RWE/HEOR offerings.
Klick’s client work was also recognized for excellence in healthcare marketing, including five honors (three Golds and two Silvers) for “867-5309,” the campaign it created for Cancer Support Community’s and Gilda’s Club’s by turning a pop culture earworm into a lifeline for cancer support. The number, made famous by Tommy Tutone’s classic tune, pairs with area code 272 (or CSC) to connect callers to the organization’s free national Helpline. Activated across radio, streaming, PR, and social, the campaign generated billions of earned media impressions and increased Helpline calls by 216 percent in just one week.
Lisa E. Ireland, Executive Vice President, External Relations at Cancer Support Community, said, “These awards reflect the bold, creative thinking and genuine purpose that Klick Health brings to its work. Klick showed up as a true mission partner, united by our belief that community is stronger than cancer, and brought extraordinary creativity, strategic expertise, and commitment to help turn an iconic number into a memorable connection point for people impacted by cancer.”
Klick Health President Ari Schaefer added, “We’re extremely proud of how our teams collaborate with our clients to drive business results and make a difference in patients’ lives. Huge thanks to all our Klicksters who bring their curiosity and passion to developing outstanding work, and to our clients who trust us to help grow their brands and deliver lasting impact.”
