The company behind SigmaNEST software is now SigmaTEK, part of Sandvik Group. The new name, effective today, reflects how far the company has grown with its customers: from nesting software to a connected set of products that supports fabricators from the first quote to the shipped part. The company’s flagship nesting software will continue under the SigmaNEST product name.
Fabricators want to simplify how they run, with one software system that drives every machine in the shop, whatever the type or brand. They are quoting against tighter deadlines and, once the work is won, delivering on aggressive production timelines. And they want to get more done with the resources they already have. As SigmaTEK, the company meets those needs as one partner across CAD/CAM, shop floor and business systems, with products that share the same data and support in one place.
Version 27 puts that focus into practice. Version 27 (V27) of the SigmaTEK Connected Shop Suite is the first release under the new name. Its theme, Automate and Simplify, is about taking repetitive steps out of everyday work, so shops move faster and get more from the resources they have.
- SigmaTEK Copilot brings AI into programming as practical help, not hype. Built into SigmaNEST, it helps programmers by turning plain-language requests into real workflow actions, from importing parts and nesting a job to posting programs and running reports. Copilot will be able to perform actions in the SigmaNEST software package and modules, with more than 200 actions available in V27 to all users with an active maintenance plan.
- Programming in fewer clicks. With Auto Complete and Add Bridge by Dragging Line, the number of clicks or steps to finish a job is reduced significantly, saving time and freeing programmers from repetitive manual tasks.
- My SigmaTEK, the new customer portal at my.sigmateksystems.com, brings support cases, licenses, maintenance and documentation together, for customer visibility.
Several products also take new names in V27. The full list is at sigmateksystems.com.
“SigmaTEK is the name for everything our customers rely on us for today, not just nesting. V27 is our first release under the new name: practical automation, including AI programming in SigmaTEK Copilot, that helps them meet tighter timelines and get more from the resources they already have. The name of the company has changed to reflect the broader scope of our solutions, but the products and the team our customers depend on remain the same.” Patrick Bohle, President, SigmaTEK.
SigmaTEK will show V27 at:
- EuroBLECH: Oct. 20-23, 2026, Hannover, Hall 11, Stand G01.
- FABTECH: Oct. 21-23, 2026, Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth C4849.
