Relve has launched a Change.org petition asking accelerators, investors and founder communities to recognize 11.11 each year as Solo Founders’ Day.

Relve, an AI intelligence platform for early-stage SaaS and AI-native companies, has launched a public petition on Change.org asking for 11.11 to be recognized every year as Solo Founders’ Day. Relve is the petition’s first signatory.
The petition is addressed to accelerators, investors, founder communities and tech companies worldwide. It asks them to recognize the day each year, highlight products built by solo founders and share solo founders’ stories using #SoloFoundersDay. It also suggests that individuals mark the day by trying a product built by a solo founder or sharing a solo founder’s story.
The proposal follows a rise in solo founding. Carta’s Solo Founders Report 2025 found that the share of new US startups with a solo founder rose from 23.7 percent in 2019 to 36.3 percent in the first half of 2025. According to the same report, solo-led companies made up 30 percent of startups founded in 2024 but received 14.7 percent of the cash raised in priced equity rounds that year.
The petition explains the choice of date as four ones side by side, standing for one person, one idea, one product and one shot. It notes that 11 November is also Remembrance Day and Veterans Day in many countries, and that Solo Founders’ Day is meant to sit alongside those observances. The date is also known as Singles’ Day, a shopping event that began in China.
“Building alone takes a different kind of courage. We’re asking for 11.11 to be recognized as Solo Founders’ Day so the people who build alone have a day of their own,” said RELVE.
Relve will mark the day on its own platform by listing AI and software offers selected for solo builders, with deals checked against the vendor’s official pricing marked as verified.
