iGMS, the short-term rental software for independent hosts, today opened a Free Plan as a pilot program for hosts who are new to iGMS. It costs $0 a month and puts Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com reservations in one calendar and guest messages in one inbox, in the iGMS app for iOS and Android.
On the Free Plan, iGMS earns only when a host is paid directly. There is no monthly fee and no setup fee. The one fee is 4% of each payment a host collects from guests through their own Stripe account connected to iGMS. Reservations paid through Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com carry no iGMS fee, and neither do payments taken outside iGMS, such as a bank transfer. Stripe’s own processing fees are separate.
A booking on Airbnb blocks the same dates on Vrbo and Booking.com, and every guest message lands in one thread with a suggested reply ready to send.
“A host with two listings shouldn’t need a software budget to stop double bookings,” said Ivan Levchenko, CEO of iGMS. “On the Free Plan we earn nothing until a host is paid directly, so we only grow when our hosts win bookings of their own.”
Because the Free Plan is a pilot, iGMS will change it as it learns how hosts use it. A host can move to a paid iGMS plan, or close the account, at any time and with no cancellation charge.
