Nov. 10 event features speakers from PLAI, Positive Equation, AFP Global, Velora, and others, for a free day of nonprofit learning and collaboration.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Velora will host Nonprofit MOVE (Mission Operations Virtual Exchange), a free, full-day virtual event for nonprofit leaders and professionals, on November 10, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time. The event will explore the strategies, systems, and technology shaping the nonprofit sector’s future.
The program will feature Kaz McGrath, founder and CEO of PLAI; Dana Snyder, founder and CEO of Positive Equation; Cherian Koshy, vice president at Kindsight; H. Art Taylor of AFP Global; Anush Vinod, CEO of Velora, and Meena Das of Namaste Data, among other nonprofit leaders and practitioners.
Nonprofits are navigating changing donor expectations, funding uncertainty, stretched staff capacity, and growing compliance complexity—all while technology reshapes how organizations work. Nonprofit MOVE will focus on what it takes to move forward: connecting people, strategy and technology to build stronger organizations and more sustainable impact.
Rather than treating fundraising, finance, and operations as separate challenges, Nonprofit MOVE will offer a connected view of the work behind nonprofit growth. The goal is to help attendees leave with clearer priorities and actionable ideas to strengthen their teams, systems, and missions as they look toward 2027.
Designed for executive directors, founders, fundraising professionals, finance teams, and operational leaders, the event will explore what’s working across the nonprofit sector—and how attendees can put those ideas into practice within their own organizations.
Opening keynote speaker Kaz McGrath of PLAI will set the direction for the day with “From AI Hype to Operating Capacity: How Nonprofits Build for Scale,” exploring how leadership readiness, responsible artificial intelligence, people, and systems can work together to support sustainable growth.
Three Tracks. One Connected View of Nonprofit Impact.
Nonprofit MOVE will feature three tracks addressing the core systems behind a resilient nonprofit:
1. Fundraising & Donor Growth: Explore stronger fundraising systems with T. Clay Buck, the path from first gift to monthly giving with Dana Snyder of Positive Equation, and authenticity, donor trust, and ethical AI with Cherian Koshy of Kindsight.
2. Finance, Grants & Compliance: Examine financial visibility, controls, and decision-ready strategy, with Fielding Jezreel leading a session on federal grant readiness and how organizations can assess whether to apply, partner, or wait.
3. Nonprofit Operations & AI: Explore the foundations for responsible AI with Nathan Chappell, organizational capacity and culture with Tiffani R. Brown, and equitable AI adoption through a prerecorded session from Meena Das of Namaste Data.
The day will culminate in “Trust, Technology, and the Systems Behind Generosity,” a closing conversation featuring Erik Tomalis, founder of Keystone Philanthropy, H. Art Taylor of AFP Global and Velora CEO Anush Vinod, connecting donor trust, financial accountability, and responsible technology. Across the program, attendees will gain practical perspectives on strengthening the systems behind nonprofit impact.
Come with your mission. Leave with momentum.
Attendance is free, and the event is entirely virtual. All registrants will receive session recordings and speaker resources post-event, regardless of attendance. View the agenda and register at Nonprofit MOVE.
