Experienced aerospace and technology executive brings 25+ years of financial, operational, and strategic leadership to support UNIFY.C2’s next phase of growth
DALLAS, TX, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Spatial Persistent Software (SPS), the company behind UNIFY.C2, today announced the appointment of Eric Fleckten as Chief Financial Officer. Fleckten joins the company with more than 25 years of experience leading and scaling technology-driven organizations across aerospace, advanced technology, infrastructure, and energy.
As CFO, Fleckten will oversee UNIFY.C2’s financial strategy and help build the foundation required to support the company’s continued growth. His appointment adds an executive who has worked across the full lifecycle of emerging technology businesses, from capital formation and commercialization to operational scale.
“Eric understands that scaling a technology company requires more than strong financial management,” said Jerry McGee, CEO of UNIFY.C2. “It requires understanding how the business, the technology, and the mission fit together. He has helped companies navigate growth, build the infrastructure to support it, and make disciplined decisions about where to invest. That combination of financial and operational experience makes him an important addition to our leadership team.”
Fleckten’s career has consistently placed him at the intersection of finance, operations, and emerging technology. Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Flight Operations at NUAIR, he led operational and growth initiatives supporting advanced uncrewed aircraft systems and low-altitude airspace capabilities. The role gave him direct exposure to many of the operational environments and technologies shaping the future of airspace security.
Earlier in his career, Fleckten helped build and scale businesses through periods of significant growth and investment. As President and COO of Emrgy, he helped grow the company from seven to 45 employees, established the operational infrastructure required to support that expansion, and helped secure an $18.5 million Series A financing. He has also held executive responsibility for an 80-person organization and $20 million operating budget at Decision Sciences and led infrastructure and technology businesses in the United States and Asia.
“UNIFY.C2 is at an exciting point in its growth,” said Fleckten. “The company has built a differentiated capability to establish UNIFY.C2 as critical infrastructure for modern airspace awareness and security operations, and there is a significant opportunity ahead of us. My focus will be on building the financial discipline, operational infrastructure, and strategy that allow us to pursue that opportunity thoughtfully and scale the business for the long term.”
Fleckten also brings firsthand military aviation experience. He began his career as a U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer and later served as an F-16 pilot in the Air National Guard, deploying twice in support of combat operations. That experience gives him an additional perspective on the operational environments and end users UNIFY.C2 serves.
He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, an M.A. in Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School, and an MBA in International Business from the National University of Singapore. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and an FAA Airline Transport Pilot.
Fleckten’s appointment comes as UNIFY.C2 continues to expand its work across defense, government, and critical infrastructure missions. As CFO, he will help ensure the company’s financial strategy, investments, and operating structure evolve alongside that growth.
